Not gonna lie, the past few months I’ve been feeling stretched thin. A lot of heavy thoughts about the future of YouTube, FTC and COPPA has been draining. Regardless of what happens, I will still continue to make art. I’m thankful that making these prints has rejuvenated my soul and made me excited to create more.⁣

While adding this original painting to the shop, I realize I haven’t shared this on my Instagram yet 😅 it was an exploration piece using Spectrum Noir Aqua markers that I was trying to do a YouTube review on. Spoiler alert, I really disliked the markers. It was difficult to do detail work since the brush nibs frayed and layering colors would create splotchy textures.
Even though I loathed the markers, I’m happy with what I created. The white gouache detailing and rhinestones made it fun! I hope this painting finds a good home :3
